Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced to hold protest programmes across the country on Dec 30 marking ‘Democracy Killing Day’ to observe the anniversary of the 11th parliamentary election.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement on Monday (Dec 23) at a media briefing at the party’s central office in the capital’s Naya Paltan area.
Rizvi said that they would hoist black flags at all the party offices across the country marking the day.
Earlier, on Saturday, the party declared to observe Dec 30 as democracy killing day denouncing the Dec 30, 2018, general election.
