The subcommittee on organogram has already submitted the draft to the AL President, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Member secretary of the subcommittee Afzal Hossain said: “The organogram is being updated and there aren’t any major changes.”
However, a significant change is seen in the nomenclature of a sister organization – the AWami Lawyers’ Council will be called Bangabandhu Awami Lawyers’ Council.
The organogram will indicate the number of members in the city, district and upazila committees. Earlier, in the sectors ‘objective and aim’, the rights to vote and rice were dealt with but now the matter of nutrition will also be included since nutrition has also been ensured.”
A suggestion has been made to include ‘third gender’ in addition to women and children. The member' forms will include phone numbers. Organogram related subcommittee member Ajmat Ullah, said: “Many suggestions have been made but apart from a few clerical additions no major changes are being made.”
