Muktijuddho Projonmo Dal stages demo demanding Khalda`s release on Friday (Nov 15)

BNP's front body Muktijuddho Projonmo Dal has staged demonstration demanding the release of jailed party chief Khaleda Zia.
Leaders and activists of Projonmo Dal brought out a procession in Dhaka's Nayapaltanon Friday (Nov 15) pressing their demand.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Joint Secretary General Habibun Nabi Khan Sohel, and Organising Secretary and Projonmo Dal president Shama Obaid, among others, were joined the protest.
Addressing to the demonstration Rizvi said that Khaleda "is groaning out of pain all over the body’ and unable to move her limbs.
“Lack of proper treatment put her life under threat,” he alleged before demanding the immediate release of Khaleda.
A three-time prime minister, Khaleda has been in jail since she was convicted in Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case on Feb 8, 2018.
She was also convicted in Zia Charitable Trust corruption case later in the same year, though her party claims both cases are politically motivated.
The BNP chief has been receiving treatment at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University since Apr 1 this year.
