BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has returned after a three-week tour of Singapore and Australia.
He arrived Dhaka on Thursday (Oct 24) after leaving, Shaherul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP chief’s press wing told Bangla Tribune.
The senior BNP leader flew to Singapore for medical treatment on Oct 3. From there, he went to Australia to attend a seminar of Asia Pacific Democratic Union (APDU). Mirza Fakhrul serves as the as vice-chairman of it.
Mirza Fakhrul is expected to attend a meeting of top leaders of Jatiyo Oikya Front on Thursday (Oct 24), when the political bloc’s leadership’s possible visit with incarcerated BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is likely to be discussed.
