BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is fulfilling her pledge to keep BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia behind bars forever.
He made the comment on Monday (May 20) at a press conference held in Naya Paltan party offices.
“Khaleda Zia is being imprisoned as part of a vendetta,” said Rizvi.
The PM, by controlling the legal process and administration, has made a plan to kill Khaleda Zia by inflicting mental pain on her in prison, said the veteran BNP politician.
“Due to the absence of a sustainable accountability policy, despotism is reigning,” added Rizvi.
He also alleged that the government’s development is mired in corruption.
