BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu has said that the government is playing the parole drama to demean BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.
He made the comment at a human chain arranged in front of the National Press Club on Wednesday (Apr 10) to demand the release of Khaleda Zia.
The question of parole does not rise since release under bail is possible, he commented.
Addressing the government, he said, “Leave the issue of parole and give unconditional release to Khaleda Zia.”
Calling the current parliament ‘illegal’, he observed, “There is still time, hold a free, fair and neutral polls.”
The Dec 30 elections belittled this country’s independence movement, he added.
