Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad has reached Rangpur on a four-day trip.
A helicopter, carrying the House opposition leader, took off from Shahjalal International Airport around 11am Sunday (Mar 3) and reached Rangpur Cantonment around 12:30pm.
He is scheduled to return to the capital on Wednesday (Mar 6).
The former military dictator was accompanied by the party’s Secretary General and opposition Chief Whip Mashiur Rahman Ranga and Presidium member Md Khaled Akhter and Ershad’s son Eric Ershad.
