“The government has booked all halls in advance in an effort to prevent us from holding the public hearing on Feb 24,” JSD chief ASM Rab said.

The Oikya Front Steering Committee member’s comments came on Sunday (Feb 17) at a media briefing at Gano Forum headquarters at the capital’s Motijheel.

“Let the government try to stop us. We will overcome the hurdles and hold the public hearing wherever we find the place. Let that be under the open sky,” vowed Rab.

Accusing the government of rampant vote rigging in the Dec 30 polls, he said, “We will give our responses in the hearing.”

He also said that all their candidates who contested the 11th parliamentary polls to take part in the hearing.

“We will also invite the parties, which rejected the last polls, to present their opinion,” added the Oikya Front leader.
