Jatiya Oikya Front Convener and Gano Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain has returned home from Thailand.
The Gano Forum leader landed in the city’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by a Thai Airways flight at 1pm on Tuesday (Jan 29), said caretaker of Oikya Front office Jahangir Alam Mintu.
“Dr Kamal arrived in his city’s Bailey Road residence at 2am and is taking rest,” Mintu added.
On Jan 19, Dr Kamal along with his wife Hameeda Hossain went to Singapore for medical purposes.
Sources at Gano Forum said a meeting of Okiya Front Steering Committee is likely to hold on Wednesday (Jan 30).
The issues of two Gano Forum MPs-elect taking the oath and citizen dialogue on Feb 6 may be discussed in the meeting.
