The Awami League-led Grand Alliance ally Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh has unveiled its polls manifesto for the upcoming 11th Parliamentary Elections.
Its President Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury announced the pledges at a hotel in the capital on Monday (Dec 24).
Bikalpa Dhara pledged to bring checks and balances to the cabinet should they win the race.
The manifesto talks about reforming the administration and introduction of a check and balance between the prime minister’s and president’s office.
“Bikalpa Dhara is honour bound to continue secularism, freedom of speech, as well as social and economic development of the country,” Badruddoza Chowdhury said about the party pledges.
He added that the Bikalpa Dhara led alliance Juktafront was formed with the goal to build a better, developed Bangladesh.
