Gano Forum chief and convener of Jatiya Oikya Front Dr Kamal Hossain will not contest the upcoming national polls slated for Dec 30.
Dr Kamal Hossain has not submitted the nomination form yet with the form submission deadline at 5pm on Wednesday (Nov 28).
The party has already submitted a list of 113 ticket seekers where Kamal’s name was not found.
“Dr Kamal Hossain is not contesting the election and neither is his daughter Sara Hossain. She is now abroad,” the party’s presidium member Jaglul Haider told Bangla Tribune on Wednesday.
