Emerging from the talks with the Awami League-led coalition, Jatiya Oikya Front leader and Gano Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain said they had a ‘good discussion.’
The key talks ahead of the general election between the ruling party-led coalition and the newly formed alliance ended around 10:30pm.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, however, refused to comment to the press corps waiting outside the PM’s official residence Ganabhaban, where the talks kicked off around 7pm.
Awami League Presidium member Kazi Zafar Ullah, who attended the talks, told Bangla Tribune that there have been ‘some progresses.
While leaving the venue, another AL Presidium member Abdur Razzak said that a ‘cordial discussion’ has been held. He, however, declined to further comment.
The talks at the PM’s official residence the Ganabhaban kicked-off around 7pm.
