Newly floated anti-government alliance Jatiya Oikya Front has been given permission to hold a rally on Oct 24 in Sylhet.
The Coordinator of Oikya Front and district BNP Organizing Secretary Ali Ahmed said that the police gave them permission on Sunday (Oct 21).
“They have been given permission to hold the rally at the Registry Field,” Sylhet Metropolitan Police Commissioner Golam Kibria told Bangla Tribune.
Before this, the coalition had asked for permission to hold the rally but the police did not respond.
