BNP senior joint secretary general, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, has claimed that AL has not been able to come out of parochial politics.
“The ruling party is behind gross malfeasance in banks, share market, power, education and health,” said the senior BNP leader at a media briefing at the party’s Naya Paltan office on Monday.
He also accused the ruling party of demanding huge money from Anjuman Mofidul Islam, a service which helps the interment of unclaimed dead bodies and provides free ambulance service to the less privileged.
I praise the media for their courageous role despite the tyranny of information minister, Hasanul Haq Inu, said the BNP politician.
The ruling party is trying to pocket the entire media industry, he accused.
