In yet another incident of question paper leaks, the questions for the SSC chemistry exam were circulated through a messaging app before the test began on Thursday (Feb 15).
However, there have been no allegations of question paper leaks in the business studies group’s business entrepreneurship exam and arts group’s Civics and Citizenship exam, which were scheduled to be held on the same day.
The question paper for the ‘Kha’ unit Chemistry exam’s MCQ section was leaked through a WhatsApp group at around 9 am. The leaked questions were near identical to the examination paper.
Dhaka Board Exam Controller Topon Kumar told the Bangla Tribune, “We are trying to find ways to prevent question leaks. The ministry is working on it.”
The multiple choice question (MCQ) papers for all previous SSC exams this year have also been leaked. These include the questions for Bangla Paper I on February 1, Bangla Paper II on February 3, English Paper I on February 5, English Paper II on February 7, Islam and Moral studies on February 8, Mathematics on February 10, and ICT on February 11, among others.
