Heatwave to continue

HeatwaveBangladesh Meteorological Department predicted that the ongoing mild heatwave would continue while weather would remain dry with the temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am Saturday (Mar 28).
“Mild heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Dhaka, Faridpur, Gopalgonj, Pabna, Khulna, Chuadanga, Bagerhat, Barishal, Patuakhali, Bhola, Rangamati and Sylhet, and it may continue,” said a Met Office bulletin.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, the bulletin added.

The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 37.5 degrees Celsius in Faridpur of Dhaka Division while today’s lowest temperature was 18.4 degree Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet Division.
