A devastating fire has broken out at a slum in Mirpur's Rupnagar area of Dhaka.
The fire erupted around 9:45 am on Wednesday, Fire Service and Civil Defence control room Duty Officer Russel Shikder said.
Eleven firefighting units are now working to douse the blaze, he added.
No casualty has been reported yet.
The cause of the fire could not be determined immediately.
