Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) cites the World Health Organization (WHO) that coronavirus vaccine will be available after at least 18 months.
IEDCR Director Meerjady Sabrina Flora has unveiled the information at the regular media call on coronavirus on Wednesday (Feb 12).
“WHO has taken initiatives regarding the virus outbreak. The agency named the new virus as COVID-19,” she said.
According to WHO, from the time being, preventive measures are only way-out for the virus, Flora said.
She also informed that WHO marked only China as a highly risky country due to the outbreak.
