Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit has arrested five suspected members of the banned militant outfit Ansar-al-Islam from Dhaka.

They have been arrested from the Sabujbag area late on Sunday (Feb 9) night, DMP Deputy Commissioner (media) Masudur Rahman told Bangla Tribune on Monday (Feb 10) morning.

CTTC also seized Jihadi literatures and leaflets from their possession, said Rahman.
