Journalists will be allowed to ride motorbikes during the Dhaka North and Dhaka South City corporations polls on Feb 1.
Senior Election Commission Secretary Md Alamgir made the announcement during a media call at the Commission offices in Agargaon on Sunday (Jan 26).
“An initial decision to let journalists use motorbikes to cover the Dhaka City polls has been reached. The Commission will make a final call on it,” he said.
He added that the journalists must have the sticker and card issued by the Election Commission along with their office IDs.
