Shipping minister, Shajahan Khan, has apologized for trivializing the distressing accident on the capital's Airport Road which killed two college students.
He made the comment while talking to the media on Tuesday after a meeting held at the BCIC auditorium.
He said that his organization will gladly accept the punishment meted out to the responsible detained after the accident.
Relevant to note, after the accident, which killed two college students standing by the road, the shipping minister reportedly made callous remarks on a smiling face to the media.
Outraged by such insensitivity, students and people from all sections of society have demanded the resignation plus unconditional apology from the minister.
