A fire was broken out at a stall inside the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) in the capital's Agargaon area.
Firefighters put out the flames a half-hour after it originated at the Frutika stall of Akij Food and Beverage Limited at 7:12pm on Thursday (Jan 9), Fire Service and Civil Defence Deputy Director Debashis Bardhan told Bangla Tribune.
Nine firefighting units were deployed to douse the blaze, said Rima Khanam, Control Room Officer of the Fire Service.
No casualty was reported.
