Dhaka woke up to cloudy skies and chilly drizzles on Friday (Jan 3) morning as forecast by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
The Met Office also said that the drizzles will continue throughout the day across the country but it will start receding from Saturday.
“Rain or thundershower are likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur division,” said a Met office bulletin issued Friday (Jan 3) morning.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at some places over the country from midnight to tomorrow (Jan 4) morning.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may fall by 2 to 5 degree Celsius over the country, the bulletin added.
The highest temperature on Thursday (Jan 2) was recorded 28 degree Celsius in Dhaka, while today’s minimum temperature was 11 degree Celsius in Tetulia.
