Tuhin Farabi, who was being treated at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital after coming under an attack on Sunday, is no longer on life support as his condition improved.

DMCH Resident Surgeon Md Alauddin confirmed it to media on Monday (Dec 23).

Farabi was kept under observation in the ICU of the hospital as he was having breathing problems, he said.

According to media reports, a total of 17 people, including DUCSU VP Nur, were taken to the hospital for treatment after the attacks.

Farabi, a private university student, is the joint convener of Bangladesh General Students' Rights Protection Council (BGSRPC).
