Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said a mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Rajshahi, Jashore and Chuadanga.
The met office also predicted that the mild cold wave may continue in the next week, said a release on Friday (Dec 20).
The lowest temperature was recorded at 08.4 degree Celsius in Chuadanga on Friday.
Weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during midnight to morning, added the release.
Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 28.3 degree Celsius at Teknaf.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
