Bangladeshi citizens can now pay their visa fees for the United Kingdom online and through their cards.
UK Visa and Immigration (UKIV) introduced the new payment option to be effective from Tuesday (Dec 17).
The UK Visa and Immigration (UKIV) commercial partner VFS has already started a six-month trial run for the new payment option, the British High Commission in Dhaka said in a statement.
“The UK government is aware of how important the UK visa processing is for Bangladeshi. Hence, we are trying to make the process as specialised and upgraded as possible,” said British High Commissioner to Dhaka Robert Chatterton Dickson.
He added that the new payment option will make the transactions safer and easier for visa applicants.
