The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Monday (Nov 11) stayed the six-month bail of former textiles and jute minister Abdul Latif Siddique in a graft case filed in Bogura over misuse of power and corruption in selling a state-owned property.
The SC bench led by chief justice Sayeed Mahmud Hossain stayed the HC order after hearing the petition.
Earlier on Thursday (Nov 7), ACC lawyer Khorshed Alam Khan filed a petition seeking stay order on the HC bail.
