As many as 938 people have been admitted to the hospital with mosquito-borne virus dengue as of Tuesday (Oct 22).
The number was higher than Monday’s 916, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The number of dengue patient admitted across the country has climbed to 938 on Tuesday (Oct 22) from 916 counted the previous day. So far, in 2019, a total of 94,029 dengue patients reported to hospitals. Among them, 92,843 patients were treated. The Control room of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has informed this matter.
DGHS added, 222 new dengue patients reported to countrywide hospitals on Monday (Oct 21) which number was 217 on Sunday.
Officially, 104 patients died of dengue this year.
