A further 120 Bangladeshi workers have been sent back home to Bangladesh from Saudi Arabia.
An SV 804 flight of Saudi Airlines, carrying the workers, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 11:25pm on Friday (Oct 4).
With Thursday's batch of 130 returning migrants, a total of 250 workers have come back to Bangladesh within the last two days, amid a crackdown on undocumented workers.
BRAC Migration Program, with the help of Expatriate Welfare desk, has provided emergency services to the migrants.
However, several workers have alleged that they were forced to come back despite having legal documents.
Worker Anwar Hossain, from Doha upazila of Dhaka, who returned on Friday, said he had a work permit for a further 11 months.
However, the owner of the shop where he used to work still sent him away.
Other workers had similar complaints.
A few have said they were detained by Saudi police while they were returning to their living quarters, and their employees refused to take any responsibilities for them.
Instead, they were taken to deportation camps.
On the other hand, a lot of the workers were deported for not having legal documents.
Until now, Saudi Arabia has sent home almost 11,000-12,000 Bangladeshi workers this year.
