Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted that rain may occur in many parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am on Friday (Oct 4).

“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Khulna, Rajshahi, Rangpur and Sylhet divisions, and at one or two places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin.

Day temperature may remain unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, the bulletin added.
