Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted that rain may occur in many parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am from Saturday (Sept 7).

“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
