No SCBA farewell for judges accused of graft

SCBA announced the decision in a media briefing on Wednesday (Aug 28).
The decision was finalised during the association’s executive committee meeting on Tuesday (Aug 27) presided over by its president AM Amin Uddin and conducted by General Secretary AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon.
According to the statement, the association lauded the probe launched against three HC judges accused of corruption.
On Aug 22 three HC justices Salma Masud Chowdhury, Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque and AKM Zahirul Hoque were prevented from performing their duties after allegations of graft surfaced against them.
