Two killed in Dhaka road crashes

The incidents were reported from the capital’s Rampura and Jatrabari early on Friday (Aug 23), said police.
Police have identified as 60-year-old Abdul Quader and 58-year-old Mostak.
The bodies have been kept at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said DMCH police outpost Inspector Md Baccu Mia.
Quoting Quader’s family Rampura police Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Shohel said, “He was on his motorbike when he ran into an accident near Rampura bridge.”
He added that police rushed to the spot and took him to DMCH where he was declared dead around 11.45am.
Meanwhile, Mostak was run over by a mini truck while crossing the road in front of Matuail Medical Hospital in Jatrabari. He was taken to DMCH and was declared dead around 11.30am.
