Three people have sustained burn injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in a local eatery in Dhaka's Hazaribagh area.
The incident was reported around 12:30pm on Friday (Aug 2), said police.
The victims have been identified as Joynal Abedin, 65, Shahid, 40 and Shajib, 22.
"Shahid is in a more critical condition with 41% burn while Joynal and Shajib sustained 10% and 8% injuries respectively," said Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police outpost Assistant Sub-Inspector Md Abdul Khan quoting doctors.
Shahid's brother, Shahin said a pipe leakage in the gas cylinder might have led to this explosion.
Local people rescued the injured from the store and brought them to the hospital.
