Free treatment for 100 freedom fighters in India: Govt

An illustration shows the flags of Bangladesh and India.The government has announced to provide free medical treatment to 100 Muktijoddhas (freedom fighters) this year in hospitals under the Indian Armed Forces.
Ministry of Liberation War Affairs of Bangladesh has partnered with Indian High Commission to select deserving patients covering all districts of Bangladesh, according to a media release issued on Thursday (Jul 18).
This announcement is part of Indian government’s plan to provide free treatment to ailing freedom fighters (FFs) every year.

Interested ailing freedom fighters are advised to visit the website (www.molwa.gov.bd) and submit their applications to the Civil Surgeon’s office in their respective districts as per the prescribed application format before Aug 22, 2019.
