Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid and acting Chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Dr Nasiruddin Ahmed have expressed dissent over the liability for the question paper leaks. They expressed their opinions in an exchange meeting between the ACC and the education minister, secretary, senior officials and the heads of various organizations under the ministry, held on Sunday (Dec 17) at the conference room of Ministry of Education.

The ACC chairman said, “The corrupt officials of the Education Board, BG Press, Treasury and the dishonest officials of the examination centres are responsible for leaking question papers.”

After the meeting, the education minister said, “The teachers are responsible for leaking question papers. They are immoral as they do not teach at class and concentrate more on coaching businesses. “I would not say that the education ministry is 100% corruption free. But we are trying to reduce the level of corruption,” the minister added.
