The suspected leader of top criminal gang named Seven Star Group has been killed in a reported gunfight with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Mohammadpur, Dhaka.
The incident occurred near Bosila Garden City early on Thursday (Jun 20), RAB officials confirmed.
The deceased has been identified as gang leader Tanvir Ahmed Anik, 36.
Two RAB members were also injured in the incident.
The elite force also recovered a pistol, a revolver with bullets, and some sharp weapons from the scene.
