A fire has broken out at Baitul Mukarram market on Topkhana Road in Dhaka.

The fire broke out around 11:40 am on Wednesday, Fire Service Headquarters duty officer Nima Khanom told Bangla Tribune.

She said: “The fire broke out on the northern side of national mosque mosque’s gate. Four firefighting units are working to douse the blaze. 

“The fire is under control now. The reason behind the fire has not yet been ascertained.”
