Heat wave likely to continue till Wednesday

Bangladesh Meteorological Department said that the existing heat wave over some places in the country may continue in the next 24 hours as of 9am Wednesday (May 29).
“Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna and Dhaka divisions and the regions of Rajshahi, Pabna, Barishal, Patuakhali and Noakhali and it may continue”, said a Met office bulletin issued on Tuesday (May 28).
“Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country”, it added.
Also, the met office predicted rain saying, “Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh & Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka & Chattogram divisions and the regions of Jashore & Kushtia”.
However, the weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
