Dhaka and the northern parts of Bangladesh will be showered with rain on Sunday evening, the Met Office said.
“In the evening, there are chances of slight rain accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind in Dhaka and the northern districts,” Meteorologist Abdur Rahman told English daily the Dhaka Tribune.
For the past few days, a mild-to-moderate heat wave has been sweeping across the country, causing people to suffer due to the rise in temperature.

In a weather bulletin on Sunday, the Met office said the mild heat wave which is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Gopalgonj, Noakhali, Rajshahi and Pabna may abate at some places.





It also forecasted that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions, at one or two places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with hails at isolated places.
