Using the e-mail of primary education department, five primary teachers in Chattogram were sent transfer notices. However, in reality, no transfer order was actually made.
Therefore, the question remains: “who sent the transfer order from an official e-mail? There are long standing allegations that education department officials give transfer orders in exchange of bribes.”
A similar incident happened on Apr 10 when transfer orders of five assistant teachers were sent from the official e-mail. But the orders left Chattogram district education officer and divisional deputy director in a quandary.
Later, director of the education department, Khan Md. Nurul Amin, said: “These were false orders. No such order was issued by the DG.”
The National Security Intelligence, NSI or SB can discover the malicious people behind the transfer orders, he observed.
When the teachers took the transfer orders, education officer, Nasrin Sultana, became suspicious since some signatures were missing. The orders have the name of assistant director, Jalal Uddin, though his sign is missing.
Jalal Uddin said: “This is the age of digital fraud and the letters are counterfeit.”
It’s believed that the letters were sent with the collusion of education department officials. To cover up the crime, no measure is being taken. Only a letter has been sent asking for the transfer orders to be disregarded.
