Police have filed a case over the raid at Mohammadpur’s Bosila militant hideout where two militants died in a Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) operation on Monday (Apr 29).
RAB-2 chief Ashique Billah told Bangla Tribune that the case was filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act on Tuesday (Apr 30).
RAB had cordoned off the Bosila on the early hours of April 29, as militants had taken shelter in the tin-shed house at Bosila’s Metro Housing.
Three gun-shots went off when the bomb disposal unit broke into the house that was cordoned off in the early hours after evacuating people of the nearby buildings to a safe spot.
A fire broke out at the suspected militant den during the raid by the RAB.
After the end of the raid, the elite security forces recovered the bodies of two militants from the hideout.
