The Met office has predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds at many places over the country in the 24 hours until Sunday morning.
“Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places”, said a press release by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period, it said.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 33.5 degrees Celsius at Rangamati in Chattogram division and today’s minimum temperature 19.5 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
