A teenager, who had lost a leg in a train accident, has died after being treated at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital for nearly 12 hours.


Fifteen-year-old Rony, a roaming vendor, went under a moving train in capital’s Moghbazar area late on Friday, said the hospital police camp’s Sub-Inspector Bachchu Mia.
He was trying to get off from the slowing train and slipped under the train and lost his right leg, he said.
Rony succumbed to his injuries around 10am on Sunday, said Sub Inspector Anisur Rahman of Kamalapur-based railway police station.
