Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country in the next 24 hours ending at 9am on Saturday (Mar 2), reports BSS.

But, light rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh, Chattogram, Barishal, Khulna and Sylhet divisions, said a Met bulletin issued on Friday (Mar 1) morning.

Light fog may occur at places over the country during late night to morning.

Day temperature may increase by 1 to 3 degree celsius and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, the bulletin said.

The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6am on Friday was recorded 68mm in Khulna.
