Bangladeshi Asma’s dead body had multiple assault wounds

Asma Begum. File PhotoThe dead body of the housewife who was found inside the wardrobe of her own home in London bore multiple signs of assaults, revealed her autopsy report.
Asma Begum, a 31-year-old mother of three was killed on Jan 11 and stuffed into a wardrobe. Her husband Jalal Uddin is a suspect in the killing and is currently in police custody.
Her body was handed over to her family on Jan 13 after an autopsy, after which she was buried at London’s Garden of Peace.
Asma’s nephew, who lived with her and her husband at their flat told Bangla Tribune that there were multiple assault wounds on her dead body, including her gums.
He added that on the day of her death he returned home from to find his aunt missing but later saw her feet hanging from the wardrobe.
Meanwhile, Asma’s relatives claim that her husband was a professional gambler and he often forced his wife to give up the child benefit money to finance his vices.
They said that Asma had tried and failed many times to cure him of his gambling problems.
However, it’s still unclear what really happened between Jalal and Asma on the day of her death but her relatives said that both were home between 2pm-4pm on Jan 11.
Jalal, on the other hand, is the prime suspect for his wife’s killing and their three children have been placed under the care of Asma’s only brother.
Asma lived with her husband, 10-year-old son and nursery going twin daughters at their flat in Poplar City Iceland Way.
