Police have recovered the body of a girl from Fakirapool area of the capital’s Motijheel two days after she had gone missing from her residence.
The body of 24-year-old Opra Akter Lusi was found on an open space between two multi-storied buildings on the gully no. 1 of the area on Monday (Jan 24) afternoon, said Motijheel police SI Jamal Hossain.
Police suspected the girl, who resided at the house no. 221 in the area, might have been killed by flinging off the roof.
The body might have been left there after killing her at another location, said Hossain.
Police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
