Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mamunur Rashid handed the order on Monday (Jan 21) after rejecting a bail prayer.

Kaiser stands accused in a case filed with the Banani police station in Dhaka over defrauding people in multi-level marketing firm New Way Society Ltd.
A towering central defender, Kaisar Hamid Kaiser was captain of the national football team for many years.
Soon after retiring from football in the early 90s, Kaiser entered politics. He ran with Zaker Party’s ticket in the national election.
In 2008, he was sued for attempted murder for allegedly hitting a doctor of a state-owned hospital on the head with a pistol.
Kaiser once again made news headline in 2011, when police detained former Nigerian footballer Emeka Ezeugo in possession of his licensed revolver.
