Deputy Commissioners of Faridpur and Madaripur have received death threats through letters on Wednesday (Dec 19).
Umme Salma Tanzia, Deputy Commissioner of Faridpur and also the District Returning Officer, received death threats on Wednesday noon.
The letter which threatened to kill the DC and her family if she does not perform her duties neutrally in the upcoming national polls, arrived by post.
The Deputy Commissioner of Madaripur, Md Wahidul Islam, confirmed that same kind of letter was also sent him on Wednesday evening.
