BSS quoted Shams as saying "Hasina-A Daughter’s Tale’ is not a docudrama of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, rather it is a documentary on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s daughter Sheikh Hasina."
He said it is basically a heartrending biopic of what the title of the film portrays a fascinating account of a daughter’s perspective how the country’s darkest hours on August 15, 1975 had changed her life forever.
In the documentary, Shams added, a daughter recalls rare memories and insights on the relationship with her illustrious father.
“In her own words, we present her transformation from a woman with a carefree, simple childhood who grew up among her friends at Azimpur Girls School changed into a leader determined to seek justice against those who conspired to assassinate her 20 family members,” the CRI executive director said.
